Meeting topic was the upcoming Raffle and Swap Meet. See "Local News and Happenings" for the flyer. Copies are being made and will be available at Aquarium Solutions. Please post them wherever you can!

Swap Meet is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 26. We're asking people to show up at 4 p.m. for setup. We'll need to haul tables downstairs and set them up, as well as move any donations outside and price stuff.

Jeanette has volunteered to staff the club table.

DONATIONS:

If you have fish stuff (or other good stuff) you want to donate to the club to sell at this fundraiser, bring it to Aquarium Solutions by July 24. We'll photograph it and list it on Craigslist to help encourage people to come shop.

We also need more door prizes. So far we only have one. (thank you, Jeanette!) We need at least four more. Preferably more. Please ask any businesses you are affiliated with if they care to support us with something. Doesn't have to be fish related.

Do any club members have anything cool they would be willing to donate for a door prize?

ADVERTISING:
Tim's agreed to contact the Inlander, Spokesman-Review, etc. to see if they'll advertise this event for free since we're a non-profit organization. We'll also be running an ad on Craigslist.

Please use word-of-mouth to spread the word. The public is welcome to participate as both buyers and sellers.

One more note:

Our Club has agreed to give the Grand Prize winner the option of taking $200 instead of the aquarium setup.

For those who have asked, the retail value on the aquarium setup is over $1,000.
